The White Oak Inn

Escape to the middle of nowhere and enjoy a delightful haven from the stress of day-to day life. The original inn building is a turn-of-the-century farmhouse in a quiet wooded country setting. A guest house features three fireplace rooms and our two log-cabin style cottages offer the ultimate luxury retreat. Our gazebo is perfect for elopements, vow renewals and wedding ceremonies. Each room is unique, furnished with your comfort in mind. We serve hearty breakfasts and delicious dinners. In-room massages are available. Join us for an evening of fun at one of our special events such as a murder mystery. The inn is close to the Kokosing Gap Trail, Roscoe Village, Kenyon College and Longaberger Baskets. Nearby activities for guests to enjoy include winery tours, canoeing, golf, horseback riding, and touring Ohio's Amish area. Romantic dinner baskets for two are available by advance reservation. Two guesthouse rooms are pet friendly.

The white oak room is lovely but not very private as it is just off of the kitchen and front Hall/dining area/Sitting Room. Otherwise an absolute lovely stay. Nice inkeepers also.

For peace and quiet, along with clean surroundings, White Oak Inn is the place. The only drawback was having to eat breakfast with strangers. They should offer breakfast delivery as well because having to get dressed takes away from rest and... read more

If only the guest had spoken to us about this after their first night they would have discovered that we do offer "meals in a basket" delivered to the rooms. I hope they'll mention it next time.

The White Oak Room. Decorated in rich burgundy and navy, this is the inn's largest room, and features a fireplace and whirlpool tub. The Dogwood Room at The Whit Oak Inn. This guesthouse room features a woodburning fireplace, queen bed and welcoming easy chair.
The living room of one of our luxury cottages. These log-cabin constructed cottages have a living room with fireplace, TV/VCR, stereo system and comfortable seating area. The back corner features a two-person whirlpool tub beneath a picture window overlooking the woods. The bedroom has a king size bed. There is a sstocked breakfast bar with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, and a full bathroom. Whether it's set for a bridal shower as in this photograph, or for candlelit dinners for two, the inn's dining room plays a very important role. We're proud of our food service, making all our meals from the freshest local products available, including herbs from our own garden. A hearty breakfast starts your day with fresh-baked muffins, fresh fruit, and our entree of the day. Candlelight dinners are offered each evening. Romantic picnic baskets for two can also be ordered.
