That was the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in!! I could barely get out of it. This inn is the perfect place to just simply relax and enjoy historic Savannah. And the breakfast was really good and filling. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here over the Fourth of July weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. On-street parking was free and always plentiful, unlike some places. Since guests received key to front door, we were not required to return by a set time. On arrival we chose a time slot for breakfast (8, 9, or 10am) and had our own small table on the porch, which was nice for private conversations. The bed and bedding we had was extremely comfortable, and the toiletry supplied with the room was of quality as well, such that we didn't have to resort to the ones we brought. The house and the room were both well air conditioned (a must in the Summer!). Best of all, the Inn was very quiet despite being at a street corner (both streets had low traffic). It was also easy to find from the I-16 off-ramp (a right and a left turn). The neighborhood between the off-ramp and the Inn is run-down, but the Inn is far enough away that we felt safe both day and night. While downtown tourist traps were really too far to walk from the inn, we had no problem driving each day, since parking wasn't a problem downtown either with a bit of turning and looking. Its location across from the park lends to a relaxed quiet atmosphere. We recommend Forsyth Park Inn to couples who are looking for a classy and quiet place to stay and see what Savannah might have been like 100 years ago.

We stayed in room 1. This is located on the first floor, is closest to the check-in room, and faces the main road. We could hear every car driving by. We could also hear people talking in the parlor and people checking in. Not relaxing at all. We weren't shown the common areas nor the garden. The breakfast was very small. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. However, the room was beautiful, and the view of Forsyth Park was fantastic.

We stayed at this Inn this past weekend. We were just far enough from everything to ensure good exercise on our trip to and from the inn! Upon check in the night gentleman gave us a map and explained all the details about our stay and recommended local establishments. He was VERY friendly. We stayed in room 1 for two nights. The room was large and beautiful! The only thing I wasn't fond of was the porch being next to our room. But this was not enough of an issue to be anything more than a minor annoyance. We did have a bit of breakfast noise the first morning because it was such a delightful day outside and people ate on the porch outside our window. I would avoid this room if you are not planning on being up early as we were. The breakfast was good, we didn't eat alot of it because we planned to eat at many different places throughout the day. I do have to make a note of the desserts left out at night. The first night was cookies that tasted like they were made from scratch! I wanted to eat them all! The second night there was some yummy looking cake but I was too stuffed from dinner to get any. The last night was the BEST little cheesecake bites! I need to know where they got them they were so good! We did miss the wine and cheese hour all three nights. But we did see them setting up as we left each night and many people were in the Parlor gathering for it. Our second room was 9. It's a bit smaller than 1 but the bath is easily 3 times as big and so is the whirlpool tub! You actually step down into the bathroom in this room. It is quite beautiful. After 3 days and 4 nights in this Inn, I would heartily recommend it to anyone on a vacation thats looking for a great place to stay, beautiful rooms, and nice people. The price was perfect and the rooms only made us more curious as to what the rest of the Inn looked like. We will have to pick different rooms next time! A big thank you to the Inn and their staff for making our stay easy and memorable.

I came to this inn years ago and enjoyed myself so thoroughly! I was going to be in Savannah and couldn't wait to see this inn again. On the positive side, the room was lovely and comfortable. On the negative side, the staff was not "with it". I was expecting an equally wonderful time as the first time as I was there and that was far from what I did receive. When it came time for Happy Hour, the staff informed us that there was a failed recipe and so we got freezer quiches. Okay, so we were lucky to get freezer quiches right? It was just a little shocking. They advertise a selection of desserts laid out at night which was stupendous years ago but happened to be tiny brownie bites that had a peculiar taste to them. The breakfast was anything I could make, I was not wowed. After returning back to the inn before bedtime I was told that my bed wasn't turned down and a robe was not placed in my room due to the fact that other things were going on and I was basically just handed my robe in the hall. Uhmmm, okay then! So, the inn seems to have gone down but I would still recommend it for its lovely rooms and overall nice experience. It is located on Forsyth Park and has a lovely view. Just don't expect much from the staff or food ... you can buy your own quiches from the store!

My wife and I stayed here on our wedding night and for 3 subsequent nights. The staff was very helpful. We arrived and requested a private carriage on no notice and it was done. The room was clean and wonderful. The breakfasts were great as were the evening desserts and wine. I would and will return to this Inn.

We stayed at the Inn for 5 days. The Inn is absolutely beautiful, but it is the warm, welcoming staff that makes the stay remarkable. We felt cared for and pampered which is what a good Inn is all about. The home cooked breakfasts are spectacular, as are the wine, appetizers, coffee and deserts which are all served daily in the parlor or the porch. It was the vacation that I wished would never end.

This is where me and my wife went on our honeymoon. It was nice and some of the employees went out of their way to serve us. Some were a little more difficult... Other than that, it was a great stay. Watch out for the cat though; it likes to say hey.
