I felt so at home in this beautifully restored and historic Greek revival home. My downstairs room was spacious and wonderfully inviting, and my breakfasts were memorable. I enjoyed my time free time in the well appointed living room, sun room and dining room. There was an interesting gathered history of the house, and I truly enjoyed the in-depth tour that Kathy gave me of her lovely home. This gem is a little off the beaten path, but worth finding since it is in close proximity to many destinations of interest.

A beautiful property - one of the nicest places we've stayed. Perfectly located for exploring SC. Revolutionary War sites- Bentonsville, King's mountain, cowpens, Walnut Grove. Highly recommended.

This is an absolutely beautiful property hidden in the middle of nowhere. My husband came up after a week in Charleston to visit Kings Mountain and Cowpens. Kathy and Bob were so welcoming and gracious, printing maps and directions for us, as well as telling us about Brattonsville, also close by (where they filmed about 25% of the Patriot) This is not exactly a tourist destination but if you are traveling anywhere near here you should stay, the house is beautiful, spic and span, totally up to date bathrooms, cute dog, fabulous food - the value is incredible. If this place was in Ashville or Charleston it would easily cost twice or 3x as much. Highly recommended.

Our weekend at The White House Inn was just what we needed to relax and rejuvenate! Bob and Kathy were delightful, and their hospitality was top-notch. Our favorite was the sumptuous breakfasts. We also enjoyed hearing about & seeing the history of the house. We'd recommend The White House Inn to anyone!

My immediate family and I rented out all the bedrooms at the White House Inn the last week of March 2008 so we could stay together as we all traveled to attended my grandmother's funeral. The innkeepers Kathy and Bob Giroux were so gracious and accomodating to all of us, and Kathy's breakfasts were something we all looked forward to! It was the first time in almost 25 years my two sisters and I sat down with our parents for breakfast as a family! And Kathy went out of her way to create a scrumptious breakfast each morning... favorites were the fruit & yogurt parfaits and the asparagus and egg crepes (sorry, can't give away any more -- you just have to stay there and enjoy!). Thanks Kathy & Bob. We sincerely appreciated your hospitality as we were grieving as a family. Fellow travelers -- I highly recommend that you stay with them while visting or passing through in the area!

We attended a family funeral and my husband and daughters and one grandchild stayed at the Inn. Kathy was very gracious and the breakfasts were outstanding. We were very comfortable.
