Linwood Bed & Breakfast is a charming inn located in the delightful town of Summerville, SC (about 30 min. from Charleston). Situated on almost 2 acres and surrounded by lovely gardens (lovingly tended by master gardener/innkeeper Linda Shelbourne), Linwood offers a variety of accommodations both inside the main house as well as in tastefully appointed outbuildings (which are self-catered and ideal for families traveling with children). A bountiful Continental breakfast is served each morning at a table impressively set with silver, fine china, crystal, and crisp linens. We just stayed here this past weekend, and had a wonderful experience. Peter and Linda are the nicest people. This house and the surrounding gardens is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Courtney suite and it was perfect place for a honeymoon. My wife loved the claw foot tub, and the bed was very comfortable, with a down comforter and feather pillows. I think Linwood is a fantastic value for the price. If you are looking for super fancy with bells and whistles, go somewhere else. If you want to stay at a beautiful historical home and enjoy peace and quiet and serenity that you normally wouldn't experience in town limits, go to Linwood.
