Wonderful all around. Breakfast was fabulous - the innkeepers were great. The Biltmore Tickets included w/ the room were a great perk. Customer service exceeded our expectations (we had car problems & Howard went above and beyond). Weaverville is a cute town w/ several excellent restaurants & Asheville is so close. The 'fridge was stocked w/ beverages, the room was beautiful & the porch was comfortable. We want to go back!!!

We enjoyed the privacy, quiet, peaceful, relaxing , setting and the gardens. The porch with rockers/swing with cushions was very nice. The fountain, waterfall and fish pond were enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, so fresh and variety! We liked the DVD/CD library as well as books, magazines and newspapers available, oh and the fridge stocked with all kinds of beverages was really accommodating. This was in a small town setting, but very close and accessible to the city and many attractions! The mountains was majestic and awesome not to mention the climate-NO A/C AND WINDOWS OPEN IN JULY, can you believe it? Please consider a larger TV in the Mary room? The bathroom was somewhat cramped in Mary too.

Mary Poppins ascribed herself as "practically perfect in every way." That's how I viewed the Dry Ridge Inn. In all the categories above, practically perfect. Kristin outdid herself in each breakfast, while Howard was the consumate host and entertainer - to the point of offering an Irish bagpipe recital, including Amazing Grace during Sunday morning breakfast.

Very nice place. My fiance and I stayed there for two nights during a road trip. We took the day to see the Smokey Mountains. Then had dinner in downtown Asheville in the evening. It is very conviently located just to the north of town. But the inn is so nice I wish I had more time to enjoy their backyard and hammock.

The Jacuzzi was great after our massage and the flowers we ordered for the room were beautiful. My wife noticed there were 17 roses in the arrangement, nice touch. Thank you for a wonderful weekend, we will stay with you again next time we are in the Ashville area. Chris & Fiona

We had a most enjoyable two-night stay at the Dry Ridge Inn. The house is beautiful and impeccably cared for, the atmostphere is warm, the breakfasts were delicious, and Howard and Kristen were delightful hosts. Additionally, the Inn is in a great location, as driving to downtown Asheville and to the Biltmore estate is very easy and quick. I highly recommend staying at the Dry Ridge Inn B&B.

We stayed at the Dry Ridge Inn over the weekend of my best friends wedding. The wedding party had the entire Inn to ourselves. It was the most pleasurable Bed and Breakfast experience I've had in a really long time. The accommodations were very nicely appointed and the level of service was excellent without being overly fussy. I really enjoyed sitting in the front porch swing having a (complimentary) bottle of wine with my dearest friends. I highly recommend this place as it really is a great value for the price.

My wife and I were looking for a nice quiet getaway for the weekend, when we came across the Dry Ridge Inn. Neither one of us had ever stayed in a B&B before, and when we come to Asheville, we will stay nowhere else! The deal we got was a 2-day tour of The Biltmore Estate, which is not offered online, and our second day we purchased the Rooftop tour, and it was spectacular! This place is quiet and close to everything! Howard and Kristen will do everything possible to make your stay magnificent and affordable! We will definitely return to The Biltmore Estate, but only if we can stay at The Dry Ridge Inn.

Our eldest daughter, Megan, was married July 12th in Asheville and we rented the entire inn for all of our family for the wedding weekend. It was the best! Kristen was so gracious to us as we wanted to have a garden shower and luncheon on Friday before the wedding and it was absolutely perfect . Our five older children, godparent, grandparents, and aunt stayed with us during the weekend and it was so great to have a place to relax, visit, and play for all of our family members. Thank you so much for your hospitatility and graciousness to our family. We hope to get back soon for a "quieter" weekend. Janice and Charley Wiley, Atlanta, GA

EXCELLENT! Thats the one word to sum up "The Dry Ridge Inn". We couldn't have asked for a better place to rest and relax. We booked this B&B for our stay while we visited "The Biltmore Estates". It is approx. 10 minutes away, located in a quaint little town that hasn't been largely developed. We stayed for 2 nights/3 days. The room (named Amanda Rose) was fabulous, bed just as comfy as ours at home. The breakfast was served as a gourmet meal, at least to us it was a very nice treat. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the fishpond, and the cool mornings. We were not disturbed at all during the trip. There were others staying at the same time, but never heard a peep from our room. Both my husband and I can only say good things about our stay. If you are looking for some true hospitality and relaxation I do suggest this B&B as a great choice!

I found the Dry Ridge Inn at the last minute when the Hampton Hotel we usually stay in had only smoking rooms available. Nothing against the Hampton, but this situation caused me to look at alternative lodging and I don't think I'll ever stay in a hotel again! The Dry Ridge Inn is so pretty, friendly, clean, and PEACEFUL and only a short drive to downtown Asheville. We felt as if we were in "Mayberry" - my 12 year old son was able to walk to the local primary school to use the playground equipment and even played with some local Little Leaguers! We felt safe at all times and it is SO relaxing in Weaverville, I could have stayed on the front porch or hammock for 4 days if my son wasn't so active! You will really feel "away from it all" at the Dry Ridge - Howard played "Happy Birthday" on the bagpipes and was very helpful in answering our questions about things to do - Kristen is very sweet and an awesome cook! We stayed in "the Bess", which was lovely, plenty big enough for 2, and had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! I even purchased the shampoo and conditioner they supplied in the bathroom - it's a great product & for sale downstairs. My son especially enjoyed the free DVDs and drinks - the only thing he may have missed was a pool, but again, there is a lot to do in Asheville for kids/teens, so even if you think of B&B's for couples only, my son was very happy and wants to return in the Fall. I highly recommend the Dry Ridge Inn for a peaceful, relaxing couple of days in the beautiful mountains of NC. We will definitely return - the only problem is, it's really hard to leave!! Thanks Howard & Kristen! Rosalie & Ben, June 2008, Cincinnati, OH

The entire home and property is spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained from the rocking chairs and swing on the front porch to the hamock and hot tub in the well groomed backyard. We stayed at The Dry Ridge Inn for one night on a trip to Asheville. Our room was large, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The innkeepers made chilled beverages and fridge space available, which I thought was very nice. Also, they had information and menus from area restaurants as well as a map--we found that very helpful. Breakfast was good, and the inn was conveniently located. We got an excellent deal on the room--they were having a special for weekday nights in April. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and if we're in the area again, that's where I'd stay.
