In the sixties I spent many days and nights at MS visiting my childhood friend, Abby Dryden whose parents owned MS at that time. MS was the only choice for my 50th "reunion" to celebrate my birthday. My daughter, cousin and friend all stayed one night and we had the most wonderful time together. My cousin and friend also turned 50 within a few months of me, so it was their b-day celebration as well. Larry made certain all was in place and Faith treated us to a special breakfast. Kirk Burbage left a special treat in our room and we thank him again for everything, especially for restoring this grand lady, Merry Sherwood. A pen and ink drawing I made and presented to Kirk is hanging in the sun parlor. I can't wait for my next stay!

This B&B has beautifully decorated rooms and gardens representing the victorian period. We ate fruit from their fig tree outside their kitchen. A great place to stay at a cost equivalent to a motel room along the ocean beach. The only complaint was the mediocre breakfast.

Spent two nites at this B&B located in Berlin, MD. It's just a short ride to Ocean City or you can catch the bus about a half mile from the inn. The rooms have their own window AC so you can adjust your room temp as you'd like.The large gardens provide a nice place to walk and relax from the busy pace of OC. The Staff is very friendly and readily expalin the history of the mansion and surrounding area. Faith is a wonderful cook--you'll love her breakfasts!

Thanks to Larry and Cat for helping us upon our arrival. They were gracious and kind, and Larry prepared an egg sandwich for my aunt. I flew from Florida to help my aunt and uncle move to Charlestown and this was their last evening in Berlin. My Uncle Don has painted oils of Merry Sherwood in his art classes. The breakfast was superb and we were treated with graciousness. Please consider putting flat screen TVs in your rooms. People love to watch the news and their favorite program. Bottled water would also be a treat.
