The Wayside Inn is an historic Bed and Breakfast nearby historic Ellicott City, the site of the first railway station in the United States. The Inn is within minutes of art galleries, museums, antique shops and award winning restaurants. It is a short hop to downtown Baltimore or to catch the Metro into exciting Washington, D.C., with all those cities have to offer. Yet the Wayside Inn is safely located in the tranquil hills of Ellicott City on two acres of landscaped property, with a beautiful pond amid mature trees(one White Oak certified to have been standing at the signing of the U.S Constitution)and stunning gardens. In the past few months the owners have completely renovated the second floor adding private baths with Jacuzzi style tubs to some rooms and adding a brand new Luxury suite. Just a quick point of clarification: ALL of our rooms have TVs. Some are hidden away in armoirs so the guest does not have to see them if that is what they desire. These guests (who were GREAT guests...and thanks for your review!) just did not open the armoirs to reveal the tvs when they were touring the other rooms.

The Terrace Room is our newest, most intimate and private room. This ground level room, which is contained in a new addition attached to the original Inn, has its own private entrance from a private terrace. The bedroom has a Queen sized bed which faces a gas fireplace and a large Hi Def flat screen TV. The Inn has Verizon Fios Cable with over 400 music, movie and tv channels. The Bathroom has a huge jetted spa tub for two and a separate shower w/ over head rainforest and body jets.
