We found this B&B for our Anniversary getaway and is by far the best one we have stayed at. The breakfasts were out of this world and my wife wanted to know where he got his recipes from and he emailed them to us before we even got home. Will paid attention to every detail and has the best littel gem out there can not wait to go back

We would most definitely recommend the 1825 Inn to anyone! We were delighted with the room with a year-round fireplace, the sitting area downstairs with Hershey candy sitting around in candy dishes and a jigsaw puzzle to work on, the movies available to watch in our room, and the beautifully presented delicious breakfast each morning!

The 1825 is one of the loveliest B&Bs we have ever stayed in! Will is the consummate host and has every amenity available at the ready. The inn is immaculate--the linens soft and pressed, the room decor lovely, the homemade breakfast fantastic, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. We look forward to returning again this spring.

This is an absolutely wonderful b&b. The decor is tasteful, period appropriate, meticulously spotless, and very comfortable. Will, the innkeeper & owner is a delightful person, interested in providing info when asked, friendly, and personable. To top it all off, the breakfasts are fantastic. Additionally, the grounds are beautiful and invite relaxation, with garden seating, water features, and nice views. If the 1825 was in my home state I would visit it often!

My wife and I decided to spend the last night of our first ever kid-free vacation in a B&B. We were referred to the 1825 Inn from another full B&B. Initial impressions were: Wow this place is beautiful. The grounds, the Inn, the rooms. All fantastic. All done in a charming country motif. The proprietor greeted us and gave us a choice of rooms. Both looked great. We chose the Rose room. The Inn keeper was more than helpful and friendly. He gave us great information on where to go and what to see. In the end, the Inn was so nice that we decided to spend our evening there just relaxing in the wonderful atmosphere of the Inn. There was a 'snack bar' set up with chocolate chip bars, sodas, water, tea. He had games and cards available as well as movies to watch in our room. Breakfast the next morning was a perfect quiche with a chocolate chip scone and fresh fruit. Delectable. We didn't want to leave. Next trip we'll be staying a few nights.

We returned to the Hershey area with our family over Easter holiday and accidentally discovered this Inn on a B&B website. Wow! This little inn is wonderful in every way! Will is a very gracious host and every detail of the place indicates how much care and thought goes into preparing for the guest here! Our accomodations were so comfortable and impeccably neat and clean! Our only regret is that we didn't find this place sooner and.. that we couldn't stay longer! The breakfast is a real treat and Will has not overlooked any detail in making you feel at home! The 1825 Inn is reason enough alone just to return to the area anytime!

The beverages in the room, the turn down service, the jacuzzi, and all the other little personal touches. I liked being able to control the heat, the fireplace, the dimmers, the fans....everything was on remote! Double showers heads in the bathroom! my husband and i stayed at the 1825 for a mini honeymoon also falling on newyear's eve and day. when we walked into our country cottage it was so much more then we ever expected. so beautiful and homey. exactely as we saw it in will's pictures on his web site. will was a wonderful host even though he had thrown his back out the day before and was in extreme pain. all the wonderful extras both in our cottage and in the main house are beyond anyone's desires. will's breakfast was delicious and a wonderful way to start a day. he had gone up and beyond being a gracious host. we woke up on new years day with a car problem, my husband was able to fix it but only with will finding an open auto store and driving him there to get the needed parts. we are so grateful to him for not only opening his home to us but for going out of his way to make sure we were able to fix our car. we wound recommend staying with will at the 1825 to anyone and all our friends and family. we will definitely return to stay again but this time we will be trying the hershey suite. our cottage was romantic, comfortable and like being in your oun home only better. thank you will for being there.

My wife and I stayed at the 1825 Inn for our honeymoon this past weekend. The innkeeper, William McQueen was most hospitable when we arrived. He recommended restaurants and tourist attractions in the area. Each night he had snacks and hot beverages available. We especially enjoyed playing checkers in the main house while sipping on instant hot cider. Breakfast was awesome both days we were there. William made the best blueberry french toast I have ever had...and I am a chef by trade. He had fresh fruit available both mornings along with coffee, juice, ice water, and a wide variety of teas, hot chocolate, and hot apple cider. The room we stayed in was the Hershey Sweet. This is the nicest room we have ever stayed in. The bed provided us with two great nights of sleep. We especially enjoyed the TV with built in DVD player that is viewable from every corner of the room. The two shower head walk-in shower was also a great bonus for our honeymoon!!! We also added on the Roses and Chocolates package to our stay. We had a more than ample supply of roses and chocolates for our room. We are actively recommending this Inn to everyone who will listen. It is definately THE place to stay in Hershey.

The innkeeper. Will, really impressed us and had tons of knowledge about the nearby Hershey town, attractions and restaurants. Best of all was the DELICIOUS breakfast!!! Blueberry french toast and fresh strawberries and cream (and eggs for me - a vegetarian and sausage for my meat-eatin' hubby). Fresh fruit juice and coffee too. Breakfast was really to die for and his gardens that we strolled through after were very pretty too! We might very well find ourselves back at this B&B for an anniversary someday!

Mr. McQueen informed us of places to visit, restaurants, the least expensive place to buy tickets for Hershey Park (as a sale was on somewhere else including parking, even though he sold discounted tickets). He paid attention to our special dietary needs. The food was wonderful-delicious brakfasts, yummy brownies in the evening/night. Also kept a fridge available with cold water and sodas. We stayed at the 1825 Inn Bed and Breakfast in Hershey, PA and it was superb. We stayed in one of the cottages and it had a king size bed and a twin couch that made into a twin bed. The king bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever been in. The room was very tastefully decorated and had an overhead fan as well as air conditioning. A jacuzzi tub was in the room, as well as a full bath with shower. At night we found a full size Hershey bar on the twin bed and the king bed. There was a buffet in the main house with brownies and refreshments. The breakfast the next day consisted of crepes stuffed with fresh peaches, apples and strawberries (cooked), scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee and fresh cranberry and orange juices. Before plotting my vacation at Hershey, I did a ton of research on B&B places, and ended up deciding on 1825 and the "Country Cottage" suite. It was the best choice I could have made; I don't see any way it could have been a better experience. The amount of attention to details in the room is astonishing. It was absolutely immaculate, comfortable and full of amenities. The owner, Will, is an absolutely amazing man... he helped me make this a very special trip for me and my wife (even as far as setting up little things to surprise my wife in the room and all the extra touches that made it great). Will knows the area extremely well and made some fantastic restaurant choices and gave excellent tips about where to go and what to see. Even all of the little things just added to an already wonderful experience: turn-down with a Hershey bar waiting on our pillow, the fridge stocked with sodas and water for us to have, the awesome whirlpool bath for two. The location is minutes from Hersheypark and all of the Hershey attractions, yet it felt off the beaten path and quiet. The breakfasts were incredible each morning too: delicious, home-made tasting and fresh. My wife and I both agreed it was so unlike staying at a hotel, it was almost like being in the comfort of your own home. If you plan a quiet trip for two to Hershey and are looking for a B&B, do yourself a favor and book a room at the 1825, you will be so glad you did!

The rooms at the 1825 Inn give the feeling of a charmingly cozy, little country home, while providing more than enough space (and peace and quiet) for all the guests. The rooms are beautiful, immaculately clean, and perfectly comfortable. The swings and benches in the gardens surrounding the inn provide for outdoor solitude and comfort as well. Service at the 1825 Inn is far better than what we’ve ever experienced in any hotel. From the DELICIOUS breakfasts served by the innkeeper, Will (blueberry waffles one day, and quiche and scones the next, with fresh fruit every day), to the sweets left out nightly, along with coffee, tea, and assorted beverages available daily, the food service is top notch! As for the innkeeper’s people skills, you could not ask for a kinder, more considerate “friend” to visit, and that’s how Will makes you feel, as though you’ve been friends forever and you’ve come to stay at his home for a while (as we had, although we didn’t know we’d make a new friend on our trip). Beyond that, he is always ready to give directions to any of the many attractions that are within easy reach of the inn. I can’t imagine getting more for your money anywhere, with the quality and service provided at the 1825 Inn, while at very reasonable prices too. We will definitely be back for another visit with Will, and will recommend the 1825 Inn to everyone we know whose traveling to the Hershey / Lancaster area.

We recently spent the night at the 1825 Inn while driving from Boston to Atlanta. Will was a wonderful host; he recommended some local attractions and restaurants that we enjoyed. The Magnolia room was cozy and comfortable, decorated in a country style that made it feel like a guest room in someone's home rather than a hotel. We enjoyed spending the evening sipping hot chocolate in the living and dining rooms of the inn, where the wireless internet and homemade cookies are complimentary! A lovely B&B with a delicious breakfast. I would definitely stay here again if we were coming to the Hershey area.

My husband and I just came home from our second stay at the 1825 Inn, and once again it was wonderful! The Inn is clean and well kept. We stayed in the "Hershey Sweet" both times, and it is a beautiful room. It is the perfect place for a quiet romantic get away. Will, the innkeeper is friendly and welcoming. He remembered us right away and made sure he made different foods for breakfast than he had made the first time we stayed there! We highly recommend this Inn! We will be back!

I stayed two nights at the 1825 House Bed and Breakfast at 409 South Lingle Avenue, Palmyra, Pa., 17078, and found the time there just about perfect. The interior was spic and span, the rooms charming and the decor homey and very appropriate for the architecture of the home. The breakfasts were wonderful, and had fruits, proteins and delicious carbs. The amenities included use of a refrigerator for guests, with sodas and waters for the guest to help themselves; books to read, and, oh my, chocolate goodies available in the parlour and dining room; and snacks for afternoon teas or evening munchies. There was a choice of six rooms in the inn, and two suites in a building steps away from the main house. The inn is close to all activities in the Hershey area. I will return to this inn with anticipation of another lovely visit. I am a bed and breakfast fan, and The 1825 House will stay in my file of places in which to return. Thanks, Will McQueen, for your constant efforts to make your guests feel at home.

I only spent one night at the bnb and it was the first time I've ever stayed at one. I went with my boyfriend and 2 adult sons. My sons stayed in separate rooms in house and my boyfriend and I stayed in the hershey sweet cottage. I loved it. It was comfy and private. It had everything we needed to relax without having to leave the room. However, ladies, if you are going to blow dry your hair in the bathroom...make sure you don't have all the power running in the room. I blew a fuse...opps. But Will had in resolved in no time. The breakfast was pinapple french toast. Delicious!!! We all enjoyed it, even my picky son loved it. I highly recommend this bnb and cant wait to go back...for longer next time. Thanks Will for be available when needed and out of site so that we didn't feel like we where imposing. My impression of bnb's prior was that I would feel like I was in a strangers house and that could make things uncomfortable. Not the case. Good luck to all looking for a bnb. Hope you pick this one.

The Hershey candies aren't the only treat to look forward to in the Hershey area. This B&B has a unique charm of its own and its host, Will McQueen, enhances the comfort and enjoyability of one's stay. His breakfasts are beautifully presented. Each morning, the entree was mouth watering, with fresh fruit and a variety of homemade breads and hot and cold beverages. Will's recommendations of things to do within the Hershey and Intercourse areas were of great assistance in meeting my limited travel time and schedule. Thanks to him, I am so glad I returned to The Chocolate World to take the trolley ride! In conclusion, this B&B's dining room is a great place to start each morning after an enjoyable sleep in a lovely room -- and a wonderful haven for rest and relaxation after a busy day of seeing the sites.

My husband did some research and found The 1825 Inn on the internet. We stayed for three days over Valentine's Day weekend. Everything was just what we were hoping for. We stayed in one of the rooms in the cottage...it was perfect. The decor was great and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and comfortable bed. Will's friendly demeanor makes him the perfect innkeeper. We are already planning our next trip back!

This was our first visit to a B&B, we weren't sure what to expect. We were greeted warmly and made to feel at home immediately. Our host was very helpful with suggestions about where to shop, where to have dinner and other activities available. The room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable. The inn was quiet and even though there were guests in the next room, we felt as if we were alone in the house. The food was delicious and abundant. We will definitely return to the 1825 Inn in the future.

We stayed at the 1825 Inn Bed & Breakfast during a business trip. This was our first time in the area. The Inn was wonderful, but the Innkeeper really made our stay extraordinary. His outstanding service was tailored to support both personal and professional needs while we conducted training at a local health care facility. I highly recommend this Inn in every regard.

I am always most impressed by cleanliness and this was at the top. The only bad part of our stay was that we were only there about 12 hours. We hope to be back to enjoy the addition being built. We can't wait to try another breakfast and have the time to enjoy the many features of this fabulous inn.

We came to spend 2 days at Hershey Park and the B&B was the best part of our trip! Will was very friendly, pleasant, and gave us plenty of tips on the park, area, and restaurants. We enjoyed the hot afternoon by having a cold refreshing drink on the rocking chairs on the front porch. The room was cozy, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the Hershey bar on our pillow at night! The breakfasts were out of this world! We would definitely stay there again.

I loved the Inn, it's homey, country feel. Our room - the Amish Room - was beautiful and all of the extras -- the fridge with water and soda, tea and treats in the evening, books, game room.... made the stay very comfy. We'll be back!

Our stay for four nights couldn't have been any nicer and Will is one of the most accommodating Innkeepers we've ever met. My husband and I came to Hershey, PA for a three-day event and some time for touring Lancaster county. Will McQueen was MORE than a host, he felt like family by the time we left. We needed a car wash for our antique car, and he offered his own hose & clothes line.Quite a number of times he asked if he could 'pick anything up at the store for us' as he was going out/ "Can I get you two anything while I'm out"....seemed as though I was visiting my brother by the end of our stay. The breakfasts could not have been better!!! And the smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and brownies that he had available to us every day (and his comfortable atmosphere) actually led us to 'cut short' an event we had gone to PA for, so we could 'go back to the Inn'(my husband actually asked this and the event we went to was one HE planned for)!!! This Inn has made it tough now for others to meet his standard, but we know where we'll be when in the area again-and our 'word of mouth' back home will hopefully keep Will in the business for many years to come. Thanks again, Will. ...Nancy & Lee

We chose this clean, moderately priced Inn because it is conviently close to Hershey, PA. Will, the friendly inkeeper, shared his knowledge about the area, suggesting things to do and good restaurants for dinner. His breakfasts were well presented and filling. Snacks, chocolate, and hot and cold drinks were always available. When there was a problem with a leaky toilet, Will propmtly responded to our call for help even though he was not on the property and did not hesitate to let us use the bathroom in a vacant room. I was especially impressed by the follow-up thank you e-mail that arrived the day after we got home.
