WE had a great time in Erie and enjoyed our stay at Spencer House. It truly was a beautiful house. OUr room was lovely and comfortable. It was Quiet and had easy access to restaurants and the Presque isle state park. We enjoyed our stay. thanks Laurie and co.

My wife and I stayed here on a weekend to get goods for the then up-coming babies to our family. It was nicely located to everything in Erie, but in a quite neighborhood. The staff was wonderful and the food magnificent. Our only problem was the size of the bathroom. We stayed in the President's Suite.

I travel for Business and spend a lot of time at Bed and Breakfasts around the world. The Spencer House by far was one of the best I ever stayed at. Very clean and spacious. The owners Laurie & Joey make you fell like family.

Rooms were not kept up. Beautiful home but for $139 per night I expect no mold on the shower curtain or dirty towels to block the drafts of the windows.

The charming Victorian made you feel like you were taking a step back in time. Joe and Laurie's hospitality was outstanding.They were attentive to accommodating our needs and comforts. "From scratch"...breakfasts were top notch. Joe and Laurie provided excellent recommendations of Erie's quaintest restaurants.

It was a very quiet romantic stay. The room was gorgeous and had the perfect touches in the room from start to finish. The breakfast was excellent and we were able to chose from a variety of items. The host by far were the best part of the stay. We will return for years to come to the Spencer House

This was the first time that my wife and I had ever been to a B&B and we are thankful that we decided to go to the Spencer House. The Lawerence family were so welcoming and immediately made you feel at home. The home is beautiful and the details of the historic home have remained in tack. As a Building Inspector by profession and graduate of Architecture it was nice to see the craftsmanship of the builings interior, the woodwork is amazing. The meals will blow you away, both days we did not have to have lunch as Joe & Laurie made sure we did not leave the dinning parlor hungry. Joe, Laurie and their two children are amazing and we will be back. Thanks to the Lawence family for a great weekend. Go OTTERS!

We loved our weekend trip to the Spencer House. Laurie, Joe, and Jade were wonderful hosts and we loved Laurie's breakfasts. Jade was a great help in watching our dog while we were away for a day trip. A great experience and our first experience for a B&B. I can imagine ever going the hotel route if all B&B's are like this one! Thanks again!!!
