We were able to stay at Wendy and Richard's marvelous B&B as part of a short trip celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. Even though it was peak foliage time, Wendy was gracious to grant our request for only a two-day stay and we are most grateful she did. The B&B is a gem with wonderful breakfasts and conversation to go along with it. I hope we are able to come back to sample each of the remaining three seasons at Country Life.

She makes sumptuous breakfasts and he tells great stories. The place is spotless without feeling sterile. Very homey. One word of caution to the Mrs.: Don't disturb guests in their rooms during the day; couples often escape from their kids so they cane have some 'romantic time'!

We truly enjoy visiting Bed and Breakfasts and this one was a special treat for us. The hosts, Richard and Wendy, were friendly, and their stories wonderful. The Country Life B & B has been a piece of heaven for us. We live only 30 minutes away and have stayed with Wendy & Richard several times just so we can have a little getaway. Their home is lovely and the gardens are beautiful. Our country breakfasts and morning conversations make a wonderful start to each day. Their home is in a perfect location from which to travel through Washington or Satatoga Counties and Vermont. We highly recommend their B & B to anyone looking to stay for a few days or a few weeks.

On a recent visit to the Saratoga Area to do some family genealogy research, I chose the Country Life Bed & Breakfast for my three night stay. This historic farm had just the kind of relaxed charm I was looking for. The Innkeepers, Richard and Wendy, are gracious hosts and made me feel right at home. They also had an keen interest in the history of the county so I found them eager to hear about my historic discoveries each day. My room was large, comfortable and very inviting, with a perfect view of the gorgeous sunset over the mountains. Morning breakfast was served in a group setting with delicious choices, such as stuffed french toast or blueberry pancakes. The country setting also provided a good place to take a long walk and enjoy the scenery and some of Richard's handywork around the farm. I would definitely recommend a stay at this B&B if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere, engaging Innkeepers and a delicious breakfast.
