The Inn At Weathersfield
The Inn at Weathersfield is a classic full service Inn in Southern Vermont. Set on 21 wooded acres, the original building was built in 1792 as a stagecoach stop. The Inn offers 12 individually decorated guest rooms, many with fireplaces. All of our rooms feature terrycloth-lined bathrobes, slippers, Egyptian cotton towels and luxurious bed sheets.
The dining room was added to the original structure as a carriage house in 1885. The room is candlelit and features a huge floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Executive Chef Jason Tostrup has been named Vermont's Chef of the Year 2008 - and The Inn was recently named "One of the Hot 10 Culinary Inn in America" by Bon Appetit Magazine. The acclaimed restaurant has also won the Sante Culinary Arts Award for Sustainable Cuisine, a Wine Spectator Magazine Award, Yankee Magazine Editor's Choice Award and was recently invited to NYC to host a James Beard dinner. Cuisine features the finest and freshest local ingredients. The dinner menu changes weekly based on what ingredients are available in market. Both an a la carte menu and price fixed menu is available. A light style tavern menu is also available.
The Inn is fully licensed for Beer, Wine and Spirits. We offer an extensive wine list and our Pub has a wide selection of premium spirits.
There are trails on the property that are used year-round for both hiking and snowshoeing. The Inn is located nine miles off of US 91 in Southeastern Vermont. The Inn is convenient to skiing, sleigh rides snowmobile trails, golf, hiking, horseback riding and world class fishing on the Black River.
