This was my second stay at the BFP House and Amy and Mark did not disappoint...I love the simple elegance of the decor..not stuffy or overdone..afternoon tea and breakfast are not to be missed...Amy is an excellent baker and this is a beautiful inn!

From the moment you want in the door, you feel right at home in this impeccable and beautiful home. Amy and Mark are the most gracious of hosts and the breakfasts are something to dream about. When in Maine, it's a must stay - for one night or a week.

I recently stayed at the Benjamin Packard House and was extremely pleased with not only the care Amy & Mark took in making my stay enjoyable, but also the fantastic food, helpful information on things to see locally, and just plain great conversation! I highly recommend this B&B.

This is my third visit to the Packard House, and they get better everytime. The service, hospitality, excellent breakfsast celebrations, all contribute to a fantastic time. We look for reasons to return. Have you ever enjoyed a cookie bistro? There's one in Bath.....Marnee's. Are you interested in ghost tours? Ask Amy and Mark about Simon and the Lady in Blue. This is an exceptional place.

Our room and the public rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated, not a lot of clutter, with thoughtful touches such as a pitcher of ice water in the room each evening. Also loved the afternoon tea that was served each day. The breakfast was always delicious with a buffet of fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade granola and baked goods! The entrées were also delicious; apple pancakes one day and a fritatta with cheese biscuits another day. Mark and Amy were friendly and always helpful with suggestions of fun things we could do in the area. We will definitely go back for another stay.

The Down Easter Room, named for the classification of ships that included the “Benjamin F. Packard”, showcases a queen-size cherry four-poster bed. The antique rocker, dresser and side tables create a mid 1800’s feel that belies the modern amenities. The private bath with tile floor has a tub/shower to make your stay complete.The Niagara Room is a tribute to the owner’s previous home town; Erie, Pennsylvania. Named for the US Brig Niagara, Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry's flagship used during the Battle of Lake Erie, this maritime themed room is rigged with photos and ship plans of the famous ship. Featuring a queen-size brass and iron bed as the room's focal point coupled with antique furnishings and a private bath.
The Packard Room is our largest guest quarters providing luxury and privacy. It is located in the most secluded area of the house, providing the extra privacy which many couples enjoy. The spacious room features a king-size bed, antique dresser and bedside tables and a comfortable reading chair. A private bath has twin sinks and a tub/shower combo. The window view overlooks our private garden and patio. Our Garden Suite has a large bedroom with a queen-size bed, a comfortable sitting room and a private bath with a shower. The sitting room allows for additional sleeping space on the pull out queen sofa bed. This is ideal for parents and one or two teenagers. There are two great views; the bedroom overlooks our garden and patio while the sitting room overlooks the front of the house. The rooms' garden themed décor brings the garden inside all year round.
After a restful night's sleep, wake up to a gourmet breakfast served in our formal dining roomOur Garden Suite has a large bedroom with a queen-size bed, a comfortable sitting room and a private bath with a shower. The sitting room allows for additional sleeping space on the pull out queen sofa bed. This is ideal for parents and one or two teenagers.
