We have stayed here several times in the last few years and always have a wonderful time. Rooms are nice and well cared for, hosts are pleasant and chatty when you want them to be, and quiet if you don't want chatty and the breakfasts are delicious and filling. We always feel welcome and appreciated here. They take good care of us.

My partner were extremely pleased with our accomodations at Carpe Diem. After an extensive traffic delay which brought us to Provincetown after midnight, a welcoming envelope greeted us and we found an immaculate, beautifully decorated room with very comfortable bed, tv and wireless internet. The comfort of the room made a cold and overcast (sometime rainy) weekend a snuggly retreat from a busy life. Although close to Commercial Street, the guesthouse was a very quiet place to return from the noise and crowds on Commercial. The breakfast was well presented and we were greeted with a smile from our hosts or the breakfast staff. They always inquired how the previous day went or if we needed any information for the day ahead. The patio was a great place to meet other guests and we had a great time over the wine and cheese provided by the host and chatting with some Canadians from Vancouver. My partner enjoyed the spa facilities and said they were as clean and well designed as the rest of the grounds. Carpe Diem is sure to embrace you in warm comfort and make any stay in Provincetown a memorable one. Marty - Brooklyn, NY

Seize the day! From the moment we arrived our luxurious vacation truly started. We were greeted by friendly staff and invited to a lovely wine & cheese party on the patio. Our accommodations were top notch. Every morning started off with an amazing home cooked breakfast. Choices range from seasonal fruit & yogurt if you’re going to the beach or something more substantial such as a range of homemade breads or Jurgen’s special of the day. We had an opportunity to enjoy amazing apple crepes! We are looking forward to our annual trip this summer and will unwind at the new Namasté Spa. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else when we visit Provincetown!

From start to finish our trip was a wonderful experience. We stayed in a beautifully decorated room with wonderful accommodations. The guesthouse is located in the perfect spot in P-town. Close to everything downtown, but far enough away to easily access a romantic spot or two. Despite the poor weather, the staffs' sunny dispositions more than made for a charming experience. Dinner reservations were made with the help of the staff and the breakfast was truly marvelous. I'm glad we stayed here; I wouldn't recommend anything less!

Our secluded garden is a green oasis far away from all the excitement of Commercial Street. A heated spa, which is open year round from 9 am to 9 pm, offers great comfort and cozy lounge chairs invite you to some extra sun-tanning sessions. There is an outdoor shower and the sound of classical and relaxing music as well as water flowing from the fountains will take you on along a journey of the heart and imagination. Breakfast, afternoon refreshments as well as wine and cheese are being served on the patios. The William Shakespeare room is the largest room in our main house. Located on the second floor, this oversized room has vaulted ceilings, and windows on three sides providing wonderful views of our garden patio as well as the Pilgrim Monument. There is a queen-size bed and private bath, as well as a sitting area with two armchairs and a fireplace, perfect for sitting and relaxing in front of during those cold winter nights. For your added comfort and convenience, we also provide bathrobes, beach towels, down comforter, refrigerator, air conditioning in the summer, TV/VCR, CD alarm radio, hairdryer, and telephone with voicemail and dataport.
George Sand Patio suiteThe Oscar Wilde room is located in our Carriage House on the second floor. Windows on three sides fill this room with sunlight, and allow for wonderful summer cross breezes. In the warmer seasons, the windows of the room are draped in leafy wisteria. There is also a perfect view of the Pilgrim Monument. Larger than the standard rooms in our main house, the Oscar Wilde room has vaulted ceilings, with a queen-size bed and private bath, as well as two chairs to relax in by the fireplace. Just outside the room is a private balcony
Located on the second floor of the main house, the Dorothy Parker room is one of our more quiet rooms, as it does not face out on any streets and is positioned in the center of the house. The room is decorated in floral patterns and wicker furniture and is the only room in the main house that features a full bath tub in the bathroom. The room has a queen-size bed and is comfortable for one or two people. The Rainer-Maria Rilke room is located at the front of the main house, on the second floor. A mixture of greens and violet floral patterns highlights this room which features a queen-size bed and private bath. Because the room is on the west side of the house, it stays relatively shadier in the mornings, for those who feel like sleeping in late. This room is perfect for one or two people
Located at the front of the main house, on the first floor, the Eugene O' Neill room is decorated in warm yellow tones with European pine furniture and features lovely bay windows that fill the room with natural light.
