Mulberry Bed & Breakfast

Built in 1847 by blacksmith Aaron Sampson for his private residence, this bed and breakfast home was purchased in 1924 for use as a general store by the paternal grandfather of Mulberry's foundress. One hundred and fifty years later this cozy Cape Cod style home welcomes travelers to Wareham. Family heirlooms and antiques provide a comfortable atmosphere for guests. Specializing in personal service, Fran, the owner, will gladly direct guests to areas of interest along Wareham's fifty-four miles of seashore or to historic Plymouth, Boston, New Bedford, Newport, or scenic Cape Cod. I was staying for just a night before a race at the Otis airbase. This was the perfect place to be for a quiet evening beforehand and the host was flexible with my departure so I could come back and clean up afterwards.
