Cornell Inn

In Lenox, just up the hill from Tanglewood, lies the Cornell Inn. The Inn's Main House was constructed in 1888 as a large Victorian home. We have a cozy full-service pub, which serves as a favorite spot of guests. In "Duffy's Pub", we have an excellent selection of high-quality German beers, wines and mixed drinks. Summer weekends and holiday weekends are subject to a three-night minimum package purchase. We are a very strictly non-smoking property. While we are dog lovers and have a resident Lhasa Apso named Sasha and an English Springer Spaniel named Paxton, we are unable to accommodate guest pets.

The Inn is lovely but I would not recommend staying here as the woman who runs the Inn is very cold and awkward. We did not feel welcome.

We loved our room, with the exception of the jacuzzi tub which stopped working halfway through a bath. But other than that, we had a great time, breakfast was delicious and our hostess very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again... read more

While the B & B is very nice, and the grounds are beautiful and the breakfast is great, the staff is not the friendliest or the most helpful in finding restaurants, etc.
