Inn At Narrow Passage

This comfortable, historic inn has been welcoming travelers along the Great Wagon Road (now U.S. Rt. 11) through the Shenandoah Valley since the 1740s. In the main building, guests enjoy the large common room, with its gleaming pine floors, wing chairs and massive limestone fireplace. A hearty, fireside breakfast is served in the paneled dining room, with fine restaurants nearby for other meals. Mention you saw us on BedandBreakfast for a special surprise on arrival.

We enjoyed our visit very much. Inn decorated for the holidays- only one other couple lodging there. Breakfast and cozy location are good. Ed, the innkeeper, very friendly and hospitable. We will go back in future!

This is a wonderful inn! Truly is a relaxing stay...a stone throw away from Shenandoah River and Foot Suspension Bridge...tasty breakfasts...and the hosts are helpful and friendly.

Most commodious B&B I've stayed in. Spacious room, 2 large beds, easy chair, benches at the foot of bed, luggage rack, wooden hangers, lovely bedding, liquid and rectangular soap in roomy shower with seat, brick fireplaces, etc.
