We stayed at Two Sisters in the beginning of our two week Colorado trip and liked it so much that we bended our itinerary to stay there one more night at the end of the trip. Over those two weeks we stayed at some wonderful B&Bs, but Two Sisters stood up among them. What was so special about Two Sisters: 1) Wendy and Sharon are wonedrful people. We immediately felt like we were in a company of good old friends. You would enjoy talking to them. For the past twenty years they traveled extensively all over Colorado and their advise what to see, what to skip, which route to take, what time of the day would be the best for specific attractions was very valuable for us. 2) Breakfest. The breakfast is not to be missed. Sharon and Wendy cook at the level of the best restaurant chiefs. I am quite sure that if you visit their B&B ten times you would not have the same dish twice. Somehow their B&B attracts very interesting people; enjoy the breakfest conversation. 3) Location. Two Sisters is located on a quiet street juts one block away from the Manitou Springs center. Many of the Manitou Spring shops are quite authentic. Finding and tasting all carbonated water springs in the town is an interesting adventure by itself. Gardens of the Gods are five minutes away. Early morning is the best time to see the formations and avoid the crowds. We went there twice before the breakfast spending there 1.5 hours each time.

We were so excited about planning where we would spend our second honeymoon. Since we mainly stay at b&bs, we knew what we were looking for. After reviewing the Two Sisters Inn website, we were hooked. And after we talked with Wendy and Sharon, the innkeepers, there was no doubt ... the Two Sisters Inn was the place. And boy were we glad we did our research. We had a wonderful time. It's no surprise that Wendy and Sharon have been in business since 1990. THEY KNOW HOW TO MAKE YOUR STAY PERFECT! There's the Victorian feeling as soon as you walk in the inn ... wonderful antique pieces, a beautiful fireplace, and flowers that are beautifully and colorfully arranged. There is enormous attention to detail everywhere. That's what we look for. That's what their website promises, and what Wendy and Sharon deliver! We stayed in the honeymoon cottage - with a luxurious featherbed that adds to the charming ambiance. And the food is the best we have ever had -- gourmet. scrumptious, and presented with flair and pride. Wendy and Sharon made our second honeymoon 'almost as memorable' as our first. And we are planning our next stay at Two Sisters Inn -- with our married children -- for the spring. I call the Honeymoon Cottage!
