Just another day in Paradise. Located on beautiful Galveston Bay just 4 miles from Kemah. The Bay Room offers you a great place to relax. All of our guests have access to the various facilities and amenities of our property including: large common areas and decks for cooking out, or just a place to relax by the water in a lounge chair; fire pits and gas heaters for chilly nights; 265' lighted fishing pier with boat docking abilities; and use of the community Golf Carts to travel around and see the sites or ride to and from the restaurants and stores close by. We think you will find the graciousness of our Owners and Staff to be the favorite part of your stay with us. Our Event Coordinator is glad to arrange any type of outing or special night in just for you.

We stayed here two nights and came in late. There was a sign by the road so you could find the place easily. All of the parking spots are labeled so we knew exactly where to park for our room. Everything outside was beautiful and we found our room easily, The Dingy. The decor was beautiful and the room was spotless. No dust in the corners or other random places everyone always forgets to clean. The bed- amazing! Seriously, like sleeping on clouds. I don't think I have ever slept better away from home. The bathroom had everything we needed. She even had a blue towel for me to use for my make up so I didn't worry about staining her white ones. Great idea! The next morning Pat brought us breakfast- a feast! Cereal, fresh fruit, milk, OJ, WARM homemade pastries, etc. She even took the time to give us chocolate covered strawberries and a banana decorated as a dolphin! I loved it so much I took it home for my daughter to see! Pat thinks of everything, our second morning she even filled up the water in the Keurig provided for us! They have a LOVELY pier right outside the cottages. We were able sit on the comfy chairs or lay in the hammock and listen to the water hit the rocks. They also have everything you need to fish. The next night Don saw us leaving with an ice chest, he walked over and told us to come fill that sucker up with ice so we didn't have to buy any!!! Walked us to his garage and let us get as much ice as needed, again so thoughtful! The place has a great location, we were able to go to Kemah if we wanted or San Leon, both which were a 10 min or less drive away. There are cute places to eat almost within walking distance of their house as well. Pat and Don were great. You can tell they love what they do and take pride in making sure even the smallest detail is right. We like to travel and I can honestly say this is one of the best B&B's I have stayed in yet. We WILL be back here again and will be telling our friends about this wonderful spot!
Thank you Kelly for your kind review. We do love it and try our very best to make it comfortable and fun for everyone. We know guests have lots of choices! And thanks for loving The Dingy. It is small but we have worked hard to make sure it has anything that might be needed for a lovely stay. Hope to see you again soon.

We stayed in the smallest room, the Dinghy. It is small but everything about it is great. It is comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The breakfast Pat brings every morning is phenomenal. We fished off of the pier right there and caught several fish including a flounder, several catfish, some trout, and even a small stingray which of course we released. We can'talk wait to go back to try the Bay Room.

The room was great with a deck area ,just for you ,right out your door to sit an watch the Dolphins swim by as you eat your breakfast. Wonderful home baked goods are put in your room the night before the rest is available in your room for you anytime you want, such as cereal, fruit, coffee, and juice. We are from Northern East Texas and wanted to find a 1/2 day get away but we felt like we were in a distant resort! Unable to climb stairs, the Bay Room was not located on the second story like most shore side homes. How PERFECT for me! I was able to sit 2-3 steps from the lovely french doors on the moonlit deck and enjoy the sounds of the breaking waves on the shore right below us. We can't wait to return in the winter and enjoy this calming view beside the cozy fireplace. Top that all with a wonderful breakfast, fulfilled every desire we were hoping to enjoy!

sponge mattress pad was very hot and bed sheet was not 100% cotton but people was very nice.
We try very hard to please all of our quests. I know that you wanted the Bay Room and because of the last minute booking it was not available. The Dingy is our smallest and most economical room, but freshly renovated with new flooring and paint. It does have a cotton mattress pad and a tempurpedic mattress topper. Although other guests have complimented their sleep in that room, I am sorry that you were not satisfied. Thanks for choosing Come Friday!!
