Our stay was amazing, Kathy and Ernest pleasantly helped us to enjoy every minute of our stay. The food and wine tasting was more then we would have thought to experience and then some. After we walked the wintery snow cover trails and gazed at the mountains over the lake. Arriving back to the cabin to sit by a beautiful wood burning fire place was the top of our peaceful and refreshing getaway. We will defiantly be returning again and this time for a much longer stay.

Welcome home is the first thing I thought upon entering the charming floyer/sitting room. The Hohmeyers are perfectionists in every way... while at the same time you feel their warmth and hospitality and completely at ease roaming their beautiful property on Lake Clear. Our stay couldn't have been more wonderful, relaxing and memorable. Thank you again Ernest and Kathy! Kitty Ryan

At the junction or Rts 186 and 30, just 2 miles from the Adirondack Airport (SLK),8 miles west of Saranac Lake,20 minutes from Lake Placid,NY. Plattsburgh International Airport is the closest major airport, we are a 2.5 hour drive north of Albany,NY. Two hours south of Montreal, 2 hours from Ottawa, 3.5hours from Syracuse, NY. From Saranac Lake take rt 186 west, turn onto 186 west - we are 4 miles down on the right - sign says THE LODGE.
