The Elisabet Ney room with Queen sleigh bed. The room has a private bathroom with slate floors, granite countertop, and full bathtub/shower.
The Monroe Shipe room has an antique Full bed, armoire, and desk. The bathroom has slate floors, pedestal sink, and shower with bench seat.
The Hyde Park room contains a Queen poster bed with antique furniture. The private bath has slate floors, pedestal sink, and tile shower.
Downstairs at the Adams House. Breakfast is served on week days between 7:30 and 9:00 am and on weekends at 9:00 am.
The John R. Lock Bungalow This bungalow is separate from the main house and is behind the main house. The entry room contains a single bed, armoire, and small refrigerator. The bedroom contains a king size bed, large table with two side chairs and a TV with built-in DVD. The bath has a tub with a whirlpool, granite counters and travertine floors. All rooms have a telephone and there is wireless service throughout the house.

No stay in Austin is complete without seeing some of the local attractions, dancing to a live band, or eating at our award-winning restaurants and food trailers. Your hosts, Liz and Eric, are very knowledgeable of Austin’s amazing music and restaurant scene and we can recommend the best venues to catch a live band or the best spot to get some local flavor. You may even see Eric on stage around town! The University of Texas, museums, nightlife, and hike and bike trails are only minutes away from the Adams House. We had a wonderful stay again. We stayed in January, my husband and I and then a friend and I stayed recently. As always the breakfast is great. Rooms were nice and clean and Liz and Eric are so nice and make us feel welcome. They gave us great info on the area and we enjoyed it again. Thanks

Adams House is a wonderful place to stay. It is located in a lovely part of town, with comfortable beds, and great food. I have never been served breakfast on good china with sterling flatware before; very impressive! All of the staff make you feel warm and welcome and go out of their way to accommodate your wishes. I highly recommend Adams House.

What a great place to stay in Austin. Sidney has a great location-walk to mnay great restaurants. Great breakfast and comfy beds. My first time to stay but not the last! If you are visiting Austin for the first time, Sidney is a wealth of information. She will make your stay even more memorable.

A king-size poster bed, antique secretary, dresser, and chest of drawers furnish the bedroom. In addition, there is a lovely sun porch with a queen-size sleeper sofa, and antique wicker pieces. The bath is totally restored with granite counters and slate floors.

My wife and I have never been to a B & B quite like this one. We are used to having the host there. However, the host is a very smart person to have hired such a nice lady as Salina to help people out. She made us a good breakfast with good conversation and told us many neat things about Austin. Their are some great restaurants just blocks away. An excellent choice for a one night stay or a week!

Three of us stayed in the Adams Suite. We had loads of room and the beds were amazingly comfortable - even the fold out sofa. The 2nd floor sun porch felt like a tree house. Bathrooms are beautiful! Best of all was the breakfast - absolutely fabulous. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location can't be beat. We'll be back.
