Review The Intown Uptown Inn, Washington, DC

Hollywood: We never saw Joan Crawford's bedroom, but we're sure it would look something like this. Relax in this elegantly decorated retreat. Your host favorite color is in this room and envelops you while it calms you at the same time. The room’s bay window allows plenty of light to grace this queen size bedroom. Feel like a star as you pass through the grand pocket doors and relax in your Jacuzzi tub. Don't forget that you're probably overdue on an in-room massage. We think you’re probably going to be looking for an agent after staying here because you’ll feel like such a star!Bathroom to Hollywood
Wysteria: Your dreams will be whimsical in the Wysteria Room. The eclectic decour and queen size pillow-top mattress are sure to put you into a deep sleep. The wrought iron canopy bed and furnishings were selected to excite the imagination. Enjoy your private bath with a double Jacuzzi tub surrounded by a bay window and separate spa-tiled shower. We assume the risk that after staying in this room you won’t want to leave, but you will have to go home eventually!Bathroom to Wysteria
View the hills and valleys of DC or step out and take in the Capitol building and Washington Monument from your small private balcony. Watch the birds come to play and immerse yourself in the golden sunrise from the double glass doors as you greet the morning from your king-sized bed. The angles of this room and the bold color makes this room a house favorite. Your marbled tiled bathroom brings the light in from the skylight atop your bathtub and shower. A personal wake up call is offered for this room, because there’s no way that an alarm clock will be enough to get you out of this bed!Corleone: Step back in time with this second floor guestroom. Nicely carved circa 1925 Italian imported mahogany furniture adorns this room and features brass cherubs. In your queen sized bed, you will be surrounded by large windows where you can watch the flow of the leaves in the spring or gaze at the artistic design of the silohette branches in the winter. Your private natural stone bathroom allows your feet to be massaged in its pebbled-floor shower. A wonderful trip to Italy without leaving the country!

Crafted Dutch blue and cream furniture partner with the queen size bedroom to give it just the right touch. With its angled ceilings and a chimney skylight it makes for a perfect artist’s retreat. The rustic stone and light-filled bathroom with tub adjoins your room. Your creative side will be heightened in Soho and we’re sure you will get inspired and want to paint on the walls, but please don’t; we’ll have to charge you for it.
