River and Rose Fresh Strawberry-Rhubarb Sauce

  • 2 cups fresh rhubarb (1/2" pieces)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cups Fresh sliced strawberries

  1. In pot, bring rhubarb, sugar and lemon juice to simmer; cook, stirring until tender.
  2. Stir in strawberries and cook until softened.
  3. Let cool.
  4. Serve over other fresh fruits (we like fresh nectarine or peach slices), Blueberry or Apple cinnamon pancakes, crepes, coffeecake...
