Chocolate Orange Pancake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fennel powder
  • 1 Orange fresh juice
  • bar Chocolate from a jar, like Nutella
  • coconut grated

  1. Join egg and all liquids, except orange juice, and mix well with the hand blender. Join all other ingredients, except the chocolate, and mix well until you have a smooth batter, if necessary add more liquid or flour. It should run slowly.
  2. In a small pan heat the orange juice with 2 table spoons of sugar on a low fire. Stir all the time and do not let it get burned. When thick enough take from the fire and put aside.
  3. Use a small 4 inch skillet on a medium fire. If necessary use a little bit of butter. Pour in three table spoons of batter. When the top side is becoming dry, turn around. You do this until all the batter is transformed in small pancakes.
  4. Cover each pancake with a thin layer of the chocolate and roll them (chocolate inside.) Put them on a plate and pour the cooked orange juice on top, just a bit on each pancake. Sprinkle with the grated coconut or, depending on your taste with cinnamon.
