Stuffed Berry French Toast

  • 1 loaf English toasting bread
  • 1 pkg cream cheese
  • 1 dozen cherries frozen sweet dark red cherries
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 milk
  • vanilla
  • sugar

  1. Soften cream cheese and dice frozen cherries then mix together with 1 tbs. powdered sugar. Make sandwiches with toasting bread and cream cheese mixture.
  2. Mix eggs and milk together. Add a few drops of vanilla. Just a few. 2 or 3. Dip sandwiches into egg batter and fry on a flat grill until golden turning once. Remember to spray grill before frying so they wont stick to the grill. Top with a 2 tbs. of berry sauce & a sprinkle of powder sugar.
  3. Berry Sauce Cook down 1 pkg of frozen mixed berries with 1/4 cup juice. Cook untill thickened and the berries break down into a thick sauce. 30 minuets on low. Add a small amount of sugar if needed. Sweeten to taste.
