Carmel Corn

Ingredients

  • 6 quart Popped corn
  • 12 oz Nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 lb Butter
  • 1/2 cup Dark Karo Syrup
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cream of Tarter
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda

  1. Pop 6 quarts of popcorn. Place popcorn and nuts in a large roasting pan.
  2. Boil butter, Karo syrup, brown sugar and creme of tarter for 5 min.
  3. Remove from heat and add 1tsp. Baking Soda. Mix very well.
  4. Pour Syrup over popcorn and mix well.
  5. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour stirring about every 20 min. Cool and break apart. Then enjoy!
