Meatloaf: Main Dish

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Chuck

  • Butter

  • 1 Onion (medium)

  • 2 Potatos

  • 1 Egg

  • 2 slices Bread, toasted

  • Pkg. Mrs Grass Dry onion soup mix

  • Ketsup

Step 1:

Melt butter in a pan with one medium sliced onion. Saute in 325 degree oven. Peel and cut up 2 potatos and add to onions.

Step 2:

Then, prepare meat mixture: To 1 lb. ground beef, add 1 egg, 2 slices of bread that have been toasted, then wet and squeezed dry, and dry onion soup mixture, and ketsup.

Step 3:

Arrange the onions and potatos around the sides of the pan and add the molded meat mixture. Garnish the top of the meat with a little more ketsup. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. Recipe can be doubled and baked longer.
