Sweet and Sour Fish: Main Dish

Ingredients:

  • White fish

  • Salt, pepper, paprika, garlic salt

  • 2 or 3 large Onions

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • 1/4 cup Wine vinegar

  • Raisins

Step 1:

Cut fish into slices and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic salt. Set aside.

Step 2:

Cut 2 or 3 large onions into slices and carmelize in a pan with 1 cup sugar until golden brown. Remove pan from fire and add 1/4 cup wine vinegar. Place fish pieces on top of onions an add enough HOT water to cover the fish. Sprinkle raisins, and cook over medium heat 1/2-3/4 hours.
