Cheese Straws: Appetizer-Snack

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Extra sharp Cheddar

  • 1/2 lb Butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper

  • 2 cups Flour

  • dash Salt

Step 1:

Grate cheese. Cream with softened butter first usinf a fork, then mixer. Gradually add flour, then seasonings.

Step 2:

Shape into straws or puffs.

Step 3:

Bake 8-10 min. at 425 degrees for straws (6 min. for puffs). Sprinkle with salt while warm. Cool and store air tight.
