Frittelle d'uva: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • 200 g self-raising flour

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • Pinch Salt

  • 1 Egg

  • 1 cup Milk

  • 500 g black grapes

  • dash for frying Veg Oil

  • dusting Icing Sugar

Step 1:

Mix flour, sugar and salt well.

Step 2:

Lightly beat together the egg and the milk. Make a well in the flour and add the egg mixture, stirring to obtain a smooth batter that is not too thick. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Step 3:

Add the clean grapes, some whole, some cut in half.

Step 4:

In a large pan, heat oil to a depth of two centimetres and drop in large tablespoons of batter. Squash fritelle lightly with the back of the spoon. Cook until golden brown.

Step 5:

Remove, allow to drain and dust with icing sugar.
