Popovers: Bread

Prep time:40 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 Eggs at room temp.

  • 1 cup Milk at room temp.

  • 1 cup Flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Step 1:

Heat oven to 450 Generously grease six 6-ounce popover cups.

Step 2:

Beat slightly (do not over beat): Eggs, then beat in flour, milk and salt just until smooth. Fill popover cups about 1/2 full.

Step 3:

Bake 20 minutes. Decrease oven temperature to 350. Bake popover cups 20 minutes longer.

Step 4:

Immediately remove from cups. Serve hot.
