Ingredients

  • Flour
  • Cornstarch
  • Baking Powder
  • Baking Soda
  • Salt
  • Whole Milk or Buttermilk or Half & Half
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Egg
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla
  • Butter Flavoring

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, soda, & salt.
  2. Add milk, oil, egg, sugar, vanilla, and butter flavoring & mix well. LET BATTER SET FOR 30 MINUTES. (LONGER IS OK)
  3. Serve immediately with choices of melted butter, syrup, fruit topping, and top with whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon. If using fresh strawberries, wash, dry, hull, and slice. Place strawberries in a bowl and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  4. Preheat waffle iron. DO NOT use non-stick spray. Follow the directions on your waffle iron to cook the waffles.
