Cornflake Encrusted French Toast: Breakfast-Brunch

Prep time:20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg

  • 1/2 cup dark rum

  • 2 cups cream

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 cups cornflakes

  • 1 loaf of challah bread

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1/2 cup dark rum

  • 1/2 cup goden raisiins

Step 1:

Mix the first seven ingrredients with a whisk. Have cornflakes on a dinner plate. Slice bread and soak 1 minute in the mix. Careful place the soaked on the cornflakes and turn to coat both sides with the cornflakes.

Step 2:

Melt the butter on a griddle and place the cornfaked bread on the giddle and cook each side until golden brown.

Step 3:

Mix the last 3 ingredients and warm. Serve aside the french toast.
