Sour Dough Breakfast Bake: Breakfast-Brunch

8 slices sour dough bread 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese 1 cup milk 7 eggs ( well beaten) 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 lb. ham (cubed) mushrooms (optional) bell peppers, chopped (optional) In a 9x13 baking dish alternate layers of bread, cheese, and ham.
