  1. 1 package dry yeast 1 ¼ cups warm water ½ cup sugar 1/3 cup nonfat dry milk 1 teaspoon salt ½ cup melted butter 1 egg ( lightly beaten) 3 ½ cups flour Mix yeast with water in a large prewarmed bowl. Add remaining ingredients, using enough flour to make a thick batter. Cover with towel and let rise until double. Gently stir down and drop by spoonfuls into greased muffin tins, filling 2/3 full.
