Sparkly Cranberry Scones

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 topping sparkling sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

  1. Stir together first 4 ingredients in large bowl; stir in cranberries.
  2. Whisk together butter,1/2 cup milk, and 1 egg;add to flour mixture, stirring just until moist Drop dough by 1/3 cupsfuls into greased baking sheet.
  3. Whisk together remaining 1 egg and 1 Tbsp. milk. Brush topsof dough with egg mixture, and sprinkle with sparkling sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
