Overnight French Toast & Apples: Breakfast-Brunch

Servings: 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 cup Butter

  • 2 tablespoons Karo Syrup (white)

  • 2 large Apples (sliced)

  • 3 Eggs

  • 1 cup Milk

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

  • 7 slices Texas Toast (thick white bread)

Step 1:

Cook brown sugar, butter and Karo syrup in a sauce pan until thick. Pour into a 9 X 13 baking dish.

Step 2:

Arrange sliced apples on top of syrup mixture.

Step 3:

Beat eggs, milk and vanilla in a bowl. Soak Texas Toast in mixture and place on top of apples.

Step 4:

Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake @ 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
