- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 cup Hot water
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Grated lemon zest
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- In a medium saucepan mix the sugar, cornstarch and nutmeg.
- Cook over medium head, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thick and clear.
- Add butter, lemon zest and lemon juice, stirring until the butter melts.
