TACO PIE: Main Dish

Servings: 8

Prep time:1.5 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

  • 1 can refried beans

  • 1 envelope taco seasoning

  • 1 1/4 cup milk

  • 3/4 cup Bisquick

  • 3 Egg, whole

  • 1 sliced tomato

  • 8 slices sliced Monterey Jack Pepper Cheese

  • 2 cups shreded lettuce

  • 2 cups crushed Nacho chips

  • 2 cups sour cream

Step 1:

Cook and drain beef (may substitute 1/2 beef and 1/2 sausage) and onion. Stir in beans and taco seasoning. Spread in greased 9x9 pan.

Step 2:

Beat together milk, Bisquick and eggs. Pour over meat. Bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees.Remove from oven and top with tomato slices and cheese.

Step 3:

Bake another 8-10 minutes until cheese melts.

Step 4:

On plate layer lettuce,then crushed Nachos, then square of pie and top with spoonful of sour cream.
