Quick and Easy Poached Pears with Walnut Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Canned Pears Halves
  • 6 oz jar Caramel Ice-Cream Sauce
  • 6 oz jar Canned Walnut Ice-Cream Sauce

  1. Open and drain the syrup from 2 cans of pear halves. Arrange 6 (or more) halves on a microwave proof dish and set aside.
  2. Remove the top from a jar of caramel ice-cream topping and microwave for 1 minute.
  3. Remove the top for the jar of walnuts in syrup ice-cream topping and microwave for 1 minute.
  4. Mix the caramel and walnut sauces together.
  5. Microwave the pear halves for 2 minutes. Place each pear half on a dessert plate, bread and butter plate or serving platter, coat the top of each pear half with the caramel/walnut mixture. Garnish with walnut halves and serve as a fruit for breakfast. A great accompaniment for vanilla croissant French toast.
