Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped

  1. With electric mixer, beat eggs, bananas, oil, buttermilk and vanilla in large mixing bowl
  2. Gently mix in flour, sugar, salt and baking soda.
  3. Fold in chopped walnuts.
  4. Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake 350 degrees for approximately 45 to 55 minutes. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
