Pear Breakfast Tart: Breakfast-Brunch

Prep time:25 mins.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe pears

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon cream

  • 8 white bread slices

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Step 1:

Place a layer of thinly-sliced unpeeled pears in the botton of each will-buttered ramekin.

Step 2:

Sprinkle on a few chopped pecans and add a little maple syrup.

Step 3:

Cut rounds of bread with biscuit cutter or glass to just fit ramekins.

Step 4:

Beat eggs with cream, Dip rounds of bread in mixture and place two rounds in each ramekin.

Step 5:

Bake about 15 minutes until golden and puffy in 425 degree oven. Invert on plate to serve.
