Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • Warm Beer (1 can)
  • 1 1/2 cups Unbleached Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 3 teaspoons Sugar

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm with butter and jelly/preserves. Makes 1 loaf.
