Banana Pancakes with Walnuts: Breakfast-Brunch

Prep time:30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all purpose flour

  • 2 Tablespoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • teaspoon salt

  • 2 eggs, unbeaten

  • 2 cups buttermilk

  • 2 tablespoons oil

  • 2 bananas, mashed

  • 1 cup walnuts,chopped

Step 1:

Sift together the dry ingredients. Add the eggs one at a time, buttermilk and oil and stir until just mixed. Stir in the bananas. Fry on a griddle in butter over medium heat until dry around edges(they are think so it takes a while). Turn briefly. Serve with New England maple syrup.
