Pecan French Toast

Ingredients

  • 6 - 1" slices French Bread
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • Chopped Pecans

  1. Spray 9x13 in. pan. Melt butter. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour into pan. Sprinkle with pecans. Lay bread slices on top. 6-8 slices should fit in dish.
  2. Mix eggs, milk, salt and vanilla and pour over eggs. Cover and put in refrigerator over night.
  3. In the morning, bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Can use eggnog instead of milk at Christmas time.
