Hazelnut Muffins with Strawberry Jam: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups Flour

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

  • 8 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Melted

  • 1 cup Sour Cream

  • 1 Egg

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 1/4 cup Hazelnuts (Finely Chopped)

  • 1/4 cup Strawberry Jam

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, stir together melted butter, sour cream, egg and vanilla.

Step 2:

Add wet ingredients and hazelnuts to dry ingredients and stir until just moistened.Fill lightly buttered muffin cups 3/4 full.Make a well in the center and fill with a 1/4 teaspoon of strawberry jam. Bake until muffins are golden. (Approx. 15 minutes)
