Mix the dry ingredients, including cranberries, well and stuff into apples. Place apples in a greased baking dish. Top with butter. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees
Meanwhile, thaw puff pastry, dividing in half and storing the rest. Cut the thawed pastry half in half again. Cover. Now grease two small baking bowls.
Remove baked apples from oven and carefully transfer one apple to each bowl. Reserve apple drippings in a small sauce pan. Cover each apple with a puff pastry section. Form gently to apples' contours. Bake about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and place on serving dish. Reheat apple drippings and drizzle the warm sauce ove the finished apples.
