Broiled Berries

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh berries: blueberries, blackberries, strawberries or raspberries
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  1. Preheat oven to broil; divide berries evenly among 6 small ramekins or custard cups.
  2. In a small bowl, mix sour cream and vanilla.
  3. Sprinkle each bowl with brown sugar.
  4. Place ramekins on a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes, or until sugar carmelizes.
  5. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
