QUICK SORBET: Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans 21 OZ CANS BLUEBERRY OR CHERRY PIE FILLING

Step 1:

FREEZE UNOPENED CANS OF PIE FILLING UNTIL FROZEN SOLID, AT LEAST 18 HOURS.

Step 2:

SUBMERGE UNOPENED CANS IN HOT WATER FOR 1 TO 2 MINUTES. OPNEN BOTH ENDS OF CANS AND SLIDE FROZEN MIXTURE INTO A BOWL. BREAK INTO CHUNKS.

Step 3:

POSITION KNIFE BLADE IN FOOD PROCESSOR BOWL AND ADD CHUNKS. PROCESS UNTIL SMOOTH STOPPING AS NECESSARY TO SCAPE DOWN SIDES.

Step 4:

POUR FRUIT MIXTURE INTO 8" X 8" BAKING PAN. FREEZE UNTIL FIRM. LET STAND 10 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING. SERVES 6
