Buttermilk Waffles

  • all-purpose flour
  • baking powder
  • baking soda
  • salt
  • eggs
  • buttermilk
  • butter, melted

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  2. In mixing bowl, beat eggs until light. Add buttermilk; mix well.
  3. Pour about 3/4 cup batter onto a lightly greased preheated waffle iron. Bake about 3 - 4 minutes till golden brown or according to manufacturer's directions.
  4. Add dry ingredients and beat until batter is smooth. Stir in butter.
