Pumpkin Bread

  1. Pumpkin Bread “Very moist, great when chocolate chips are added.”
  2. 2 2/3 c. sugar 2/3 c. oil 4 beaten eggs 2 c. pumpkin (1 can, 1 pie) 2/3 c. water 3 1/3 c. flour ½ tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp baking soda ½ tsp. cloves ½ tsp. salt 2/3 c. nuts (chopped)
  3. Cream together sugar & oil; add eggs, pumpkin and water. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add nuts, mix and then bake in ungreased pan at 350° for 60 minutes.
  4. Makes: 6 mini loaves 35 – 45 minutes 2- 5”x9” loaves 60 minutes 1 bundt pan 60 minutes Or until toothpick comes out clean Try adding raisins and/or chocolate chips with nuts.
